aQuityOM+ Privacy Policy
Effective date: 17 October 2026
This policy explains how personal information is handled when an Organisation and its authorised people use aQuityOM+ on iPhone, iPad or Mac. The app is a business sales and opportunity-management service provided by B2B aQuity in South Africa.
1. Who is responsible for the information?
The Organisation that provides a person’s aQuityOM+ seat controls the business records entered by its people. B2B aQuity provides the app, synchronisation and support service and processes information needed to operate those services. Questions can be sent to support@b2b-aquity.com or raised by telephone on +27 83 625 1086.
2. Information the app handles
- Account identity, name, business email, role, Organisation and access status.
- Organisation settings, subscription entitlement and seat information.
- Business records entered by authorised users, including Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, qualification responses, activities, quotas, KPI settings, catalogue items, installed-base records and supporting notes.
- Optional contact, calendar or reminder information when a user grants the relevant device permission and asks the app to perform that action.
- Support information and limited technical diagnostics that a user chooses to share.
- Profile Search criteria and relevant Organisation Sales Profile context when a user separately consents to the managed AI prospecting feature.
Current authentication uses the person’s Apple iCloud/CloudKit identity. The app does not retain a reusable sign-in password for current accounts.
3. Why the information is used
Information is used to:
- authenticate authorised people and provide the correct Organisation role;
- deliver sales, opportunity-management, qualification, reporting and synchronisation features;
- administer trial, subscription and seat entitlements;
- respond to support, security and account requests; and
- provide an optional feature that the user expressly requests, such as creating a reminder or running an AI-assisted Profile Search.
aQuityOM+ does not sell personal information and does not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
4. Storage and service providers
App records are stored on the device and synchronised using Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services. Apple processes that information under its own applicable terms and privacy policy.
If a user grants consent and runs Profile Search, the entered criteria and relevant Organisation Sales Profile context are sent through infrastructure managed by aQuity, including Cloudflare Workers, to OpenAI to generate candidate organisations. Users should not enter confidential personal information in search criteria. AI results are suggestions and must be checked before use.
5. Device permissions
Contacts, Calendars and Reminders permissions are optional. They are used only when a user asks the app to select, create or manage the corresponding information. A user can withdraw a permission in the device’s System Settings, although the related feature will then be unavailable.
6. Payments and subscriptions
Apple handles App Store billing, payment details, invoices, refunds and subscription cancellation. B2B aQuity receives the resulting entitlement information needed to provide Organisation access; it does not receive or store a user’s full payment-card details.
7. Retention
Organisation records are retained while the Organisation uses the service and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. Archived records remain part of the Organisation’s data until they are permanently deleted. Retention may also be affected by the Organisation’s own legal and record-keeping responsibilities.
8. Access, correction, consent and deletion
Authorised users can view and correct many records directly in the app. Optional AI consent can be withdrawn from Privacy & Data; withdrawing consent does not affect the other app features.
A signed-in User can initiate permanent deletion of their own aQuityOM+ account from Privacy & Data. Before deletion, Organisation-owned Accounts and their related business records are transferred to the Organisation’s Sales Leader. The person’s seat profile and user-specific records are then deleted. A scrubbed technical marker containing only non-readable account and Organisation identifiers is retained to stop another synchronised device from recreating the deleted profile. Deletion does not by itself cancel an App Store subscription controlled by the Organisation.
Sales Leaders and Administrators should contact B2B aQuity for Organisation-level access, correction or deletion questions while the Organisation deletion workflow is being completed. Privacy requests may be sent to support@b2b-aquity.com.
9. International processing
Apple, Cloudflare and OpenAI may process information in countries other than the user’s own. B2B aQuity uses the service arrangements and safeguards provided by those suppliers and limits transfers to what is needed for the requested service.
10. Security
B2B aQuity uses role-based access, Apple identity and CloudKit controls, secure network transport and data-minimisation measures appropriate to the service. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure, so users should protect their Apple Account and device access.
11. Children
aQuityOM+ is a business service for authorised Organisation personnel and is not directed to children.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app, suppliers or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page will identify the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate in-app, website or Organisation contact.
